Instructor / Innovation Developer
Daniel started life at Code Nation as a student, and we loved his passion and dedication so much that we gave him a job! As an integral part of our Development team, Daniel’s main role is to support students during projects. He also runs innovation classes that focus on extracurricular topics such as the Internet of Things.
Daniel’s had a few different roles over the years. His first job was as a part-time crew member at McDonalds. He worked there for five years and became a full-time manager after dropping out of uni. He then wanted a change and worked at Motorpoint as a Car Salesman for two and a half years.
Though he learned a lot during this time, he never felt like sales was quite right for him and, after a period in a dead-end customer service job, he started looking for something else. Daniel doesn’t believe in settling for something that’s easy. He wants to push himself, work hard and become the best person he can be. That’s why he joined us at Code Nation.
As a former student, Daniel understands the experience from their side of the desk. He relishes the opportunity to help others and is eager to encourage people from different backgrounds to start coding. He’s been key in assisting countless students to forge their own path in a new and exciting career, and is raring to help more.
Outside of coding, Daniel is a fluent German speaker who enjoys going to the gym. He also loves taking to the virtual pitch to perfect his skills as an excellent FIFA player.
