Adam works closely with businesses to help them gain access to future talent through apprenticeships. He manages all parts of this journey: from engagement with schools to the onboarding of new Apprentices. He also oversees quality assurance and is dedicated to making the process as smooth as possible and that placements work perfectly for students and businesses alike.
He joined Code Nation after working as Head of Apprenticeships at a National Training Provider, but has a wide range of experience under his belt. A qualified teacher, he’s also worked in the financial sector and is currently on the Digital Industry Board.
These experiences help inform his approach to the job and have taught him that as ‘UK PLC’ grows and the country enters the digital revolution, it’s vitally important that the next generation has the required skill set to flourish and keep the sector moving forward.
He sees Code Nation as a great opportunity for individuals to gain access to world-class training whilst in paid employment that they might not have had access to otherwise.
Outside of Code Nation, Adam’s an avid Manchester City supporter and spends his free time with his three kids, who are all really sporty. His oldest son plays for Stockport County, his youngest son will soon start playing rugby and his daughter plays Lacrosse. This means that the vast majority of his time is spent being ‘Dad’s Taxi’.
