Social Media Co-ordinator

Summary

Code Nation is seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Officer to lead our online presence across multiple social platforms, by developing a coherent strategy, producing engaging content, analysing and reporting data, and helping to deliver creative campaigns and increased brand awareness.

Duties

The role will be responsible for:

  • developing a richer online community that results in increased awareness of our brand and engagement with our target audience.
  • co-ordinating and delivering an events programme, including working with partners, arranging and scheduling programmes of activities and ensuring content is captured.
  • promoting experiences of our students and clients, ensuring our social media platforms reflect the quality of our provision.
  • working closely with the sales team to support the wider marketing objectives ensuring that all messaging and communications are in line with the brand.
  • measuring and analysing the success of campaigns and market engagement, writing reports capturing key metrics, achievements and recommendations.
  • creating marketing collateral and updating the company website to ensure it remains current and engages the target audience.

Duties:

  • Oversee all company social media accounts.
  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, to increase engagement, reach and growth and promote brand-focused messages.
  • Keep up to date with company goals and use a creative mind to publish quality content
  • Build on audience and following on social media platforms.
  • Work with various departments to improve social media accounts ensuring new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages are promoted.
  • Respond to feedback or comments left on the social media platforms.
  • Administer internal communications, ensuring employees are kept informed through our internal channels.
  • Monitor social feeds for relevant content and engage with appropriate accounts.

Skills & Experience

What we are looking for:

A perfect role for a recent graduate in marketing or a related subject, with 1+ years’ experience in a marketing or agency environment.

  • Videography (desired not essential)
  • Adobe and Photoshop
  • Copywriting experience
  • Ads Manager and targeting and tracking
  • Events planning
  • Analytics interpretation & reporting

Competencies

  1. We’re looking for an excellent communicator, passionate about social media, who can write engaging marketing content and contribute to social platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn. TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.

  2. You will need a sound understanding of how to make the best use of creativity, social and digital technology, and wider marketing channels to deliver communications that provide exceptional value and engagement.

  3. Highly organised, proactive and with the ability to multitask and prioritise activities.
