Ian Hardy

As part of our Admissions team, Ian is a gateway to the future for potential students. He’s on the phone every day to them, chatting about their lives, their hopes and their desire to unlock an amazing career in coding or cyber security. He loves hearing these stories and getting them on their way. Ian’s career started in retail management, which meant working weekends and Christmas! Something had to change, and his natural love for helping people drew him towards the training and education sector. He’s now worked in the industry for over four years and specialises in digital marketing, software development and IT infrastructure. A perfect mix for us! With this kind of experience behind him, Ian knows exactly why it’s so important for people to learn digital skills. He’s seen how the digital skills gap in the UK has grown and knows that unless something is done to solve it, it’ll only be a matter of time before we get left behind the rest of the world. Helping solve this problem, as well as getting people on the pathway to an amazing career in tech, brings Ian huge satisfaction. He loves coming into work and unlocking people’s potential in this amazing industry. He’s also pretty handy around the office too, especially with his ability to make perfect tea and coffee that nobody complains about. When he’s not at work, Ian loves watching Man City play and tries to have a bit of a kickaround himself. He spends some weekends away in the Lakes (even when it rains) and walks the world’s angriest Jack Russell.
